The blog days of summer

I confess, I'm a man of few words. And, although I continue to spend a good deal of time observing the natural world, I'm guilty of neglecting this blog.

As a photographer, I'm less compelled to write about my experiences because I believe a well crafted image tells the story. One that is better than my words.

This summer, my story has been the macro world. The subjects are fascinating, beautiful and underappreciated. Yes, I continue to photograph other aspects of the natural world, especially birds. But this is a special time of year for those who are interested in the macro world. I hope you enjoy my latest images and I hope to blog again soon.
